This policy explains what information stackfitter.com (“StackFitter,” “we”) collects when you visit, why, and how long we keep it. The short version: we don’t sell your data, we don’t run ads, and we don’t use analytics or tracking scripts.
What we collect
Server logs
Our web server records each request: your IP address, browser and device type, the page requested, the referring page, and the time. We use these logs to keep the site running and to investigate errors and abuse. Logs are deleted automatically after 14 days.
Affiliate link clicks
When you click a link that starts with stackfitter.com/go/, we record which link you clicked, when, and your IP address before sending you to the vendor’s site. We use this to count clicks per link and to spot fraudulent or automated clicks.
Security
We use Wordfence to protect the site from attacks. When a request is blocked or someone tries to log in, Wordfence records the IP address and request details. See Wordfence’s privacy policy.
Third parties
- Google Fonts. Our fonts load from Google’s servers, so your browser shares your IP address with Google when a page loads. See Google’s privacy policy.
- Vendors you visit through affiliate links. After you click an affiliate link, the vendor or its affiliate network may set its own cookies to credit the referral to StackFitter. Those cookies and any data the vendor collects are covered by the vendor’s privacy policy, not this one. See our affiliate disclosure.
Cookies
StackFitter doesn’t set cookies for regular visitors. Cookies are set only if you log in to the site’s admin area, or by vendors after you follow an affiliate link.
What we don’t do
- We don’t sell or rent personal information.
- We don’t use analytics, advertising, or social media tracking scripts.
- We don’t run comments, accounts, or a newsletter, so we don’t collect names or email addresses through the site.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, including the EU, the UK, and several U.S. states such as California, you may have the right to ask what personal data we hold about you, or to have it deleted. Email hello@stackfitter.com and we’ll respond within 30 days. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time.
Changes to this policy
If we add analytics, a newsletter, comments, or anything else that collects data, we’ll update this page before the change goes live and revise the date at the top.
